Last night I made biscuit bites. I saw a recipe on pintrest that I HAD to try. It was supposed to be pretzel bites but unfortunately I got the wrong kind of dough so mine ended up being biscuit bites. They were SO delicious. I will give you a run down of what I did but if you want to follow the original recipe I added the link below. Next time I will make it with regular bread dough and see which I like better. Here is what I did.

Cinnamon Sugar Biscuit Bites!! |
What you will need:
- A container of biscuit dough. I would recommend getting ones that are NOT flaky.
- Butter.
- Cinnamon.
- Sugar.
- Grease a baking sheet and put aside.
- Open the container of biscuits and separate them. Most come already separated you just have to pull them apart.
- Cut each biscuit in half and then half again so it is in for equal parts. You can see a picture of this on the
recipe below.
- Lightly roll all of the pieces into little balls and put them on your greased baking sheet.
- Let them sit and rise on the baking sheet (I gave them about 10 minutes).
- Take a large pot and start to boil water. You can let your water start boiling while you move on to the next step just make sure you keep an eye on the water.
- Heat your oven to 375 degrees.
- Once the water is boiling and the biscuits have risen, put 5-10 of the balls into the boiling water for 45 seconds then remove and put on a couple of paper towels or towel. I put mine on a towel and then a paper towel on top of that but my biscuits had bits of butter in them which leaked into the towel so just be careful. You also want to make sure you don't leave them in for too much longer than 45 seconds. Keep doing that until you have done it to all of the bites.
- Once they are dry and cooled down you transfer them back to your greased baking sheet.
- Put them in the oven for 15 minutes.
- When you pull them out let them cool for a few minutes and then you brush melted butter on the balls.
- Combine the cinnamon and sugar. Mix it to your preference.
- Roll the buttered balls into the cinnamon sugar mix.
- ENJOY!!
It sounds like a really long process but I promise it's not hard or even that long. Once I realized I got the wrong dough I almost didn't make them but they were REALLY good and you don't even taste that they are biscuits. A friend tried them (I didn't tell them it was biscuits) and they LOVED them!
Overall I loved the dish. It was a great dessert and would be really great to make for a party. Finger food!!
I hope you enjoyed! Here is the link to the original recipe. Next time I make something I will take more pictures along the process.
